I love this verse so much because it reminds me that the only sure thing in life is God. Every person or thing you love can be taken away from you, but not God. He is the only thing that is sure to last beyond this life, our reason to believe that death is a beginning and not an end, our reason not to wander aimlessly through the few years we spend in this life, but to have peace in knowing why we are here and in doing what we are meant to do."...and what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion?" 57:20
