As an inventor, and an engineer, she seems to like these sorts of things. So somehow got into one of the hangers for a little pic.

Ok, those mechs aren't exactly gigantic, though they are the largest of the mechs that Draconians field. A size scale is that Azure is bout 1.2 m and one of the draconians servicing the thing is bout 2.2 - 2.5 m tall.

The mech itself is about 3 stories tall, Normally it stands on all fours. It can stand on 2 legs and it's maximum height reaches bout 5 stories.

Background on the Radiance

Radiance Battlemechs are extremely flexible battlemechs used by the draconian army. They are built in the image of the mega dragons. The massive dragons that inhabit their home planet too. These battlemechs are often equipped like that of normal infantry (shielded sword and an assault rifle) but due to the construction of the mech it is easy for one of these mechs to be equipped with different weaponry on the fly.

These mechs are described to be as agile as an infantry trooper, though somewhat slow flyers. Smaller mechs and infantry often cling on to slots on it's back for transport.

In times of peace these mechs are used in various civilian uses such as construction. They are also commonly seen helping repairs on starships.

Radiance have a crew of only 1. A single pilot controls the entire battlemech.

Armaments:
2X draconian Shielded claws. (integral weapon, may not be chosen as weapon destroyed, counts as 2 close combat weapons to +1 attack.)
Radiance shielded sword (Primary weapon, counts as strength D)
Radiance Assault rifle (Primary weapon, Str 8 Ap 2, 48" Rapid fire)
2X Gauntlet Radiance SMG (Str 6, AP 4, 24" Assault 4)

Empty slots (in this mech)
2X shoulder pods
1X back pod.

Special rules:
Single pilot:
As the Radiance Battlemech only has one pilot, unless a weapon is designed to independently engage enemy targets, the mech' may only fire all it's weapons at one target and if it assaults it can only assault the target it shot at. Also as a consequence of this and pilot training, treat all driver stunned results as gun crew shaken

Agile:
The mech may choose to move 2D6 instead of shooting as per fleet of foot rules.

Jump jets
The mech may choose to fly up to 36" instead of moving normally. This may be done even if the mech is immobalised. It may choose to land on enemy units, in which case treat it as a tank shock or ramming attack and it will immediately be engaged in assault with the target (no shooting allowed).

Transport
The mech can transport up to 14 infantry units (adult draconians count as two, smaller mechs count as 10, may not carry non walkers or non infantry units this way ) that cling on to it's back. It is considered to be an open topped transport for disembarkation purposes, though due to the nature of transport (they are just clinging on to the side) the embarked units may be targeted and shot, but gain a 3+ cover save.
