Description
In the dark of the night, down one of many deserted alleyways, a masked French Folf silently, but briskly, heads through the darkness. Her stealthy break-in and thief of her target went without a hitch. Her target was an infamous wealthy boss of a company that had been well known to profiteer of the poor and disadvantaged to make their fortunes. The sum she stole was to go towards desperately needed medical aid for the flu outbreak in the poorest district. She was the infamous Parasol, and that was what she did. With her shopping basket full of stolen currency, she walked out of the narrow alleyway into the dim light of a under-maintained streetlamp.
And there, the parasol saw HER. What appeared to be a splitting image of herself, umbrella, dress, top hat, mask… and even shopping basket of items, just curiously wearing nearly inverted colors from what she wore. Parasol’s eyes narrowed as she had a bad feeling about this familiarity, as it felt almost like she was looking at herself through some sort of a twisted mirror.

“Hello you…” The stranger spoke with a grin, adjusting her tophat, with the exact same French accent as the Parasol

Parasol adjusted her top hat a little in response. “Who are you?”

“Perhaps I am you” was the reply.

Parasol’s eyes narrowed further, “but you are not me.”

“For every shadow there is a light…”. Her double said, calmly approaching her.

“But a shadow is not a light, so you are still not me…” she paused, recalling stories and rumors of heroines fighting their evil double doppelgangers. “I suppose then I’m the shadow and Madame here is the light. So you are a reflection of me, my evil parallel.”

“Indeed, Madame Parasol, as you are to me… Though just watch who you’re calling evil, Madame. You pride yourself as a villainess.”

Parasol chuckled at that. “Touché… A mirror of myself eh? I suppose I could have been a heroine like you then?”
Her doppelganger then paced slowly in front of her. “Yes you could have been one amongst many, to achieve your goals as a heroine.”

“But what good is a heroine in a world where laws only protect the rich and wealthy? I refuse to abide by that.”

“Laws are there to be fallowed, Madame, what you stole should be returned.”
Parasol gritted her teeth a bit, knowing that a fight is likely to be inevitable when one ends up facing their doppelganger, still it was worth trying to reason.

“I assume you know whom this cash came from, and what I am doing with it right Madame? Saving lives from a disease outbreak?”

“Yes I do know, I am you, I know you. But there’s better ways.”

“ Going through official channels? By the time funding gets through hundreds would be infected! Who are you? If you are me, but not me?”

Her double then doffed her white tophat in a greeting.

“I am...the White Parasol.”.

She paused, replacing her hat and continued, closing her umbrella and getting into a fencing stance with it.
“And I’m going to bring you in, and return what you have stolen. En Garde!”

Parasol closed her umbrella, adopting an identical stance “En Garde! ”

Both Folfs briefly paused, sizing up their opponent, before lunging front. With both shouting in unison
“Ironskin touch!”

And you thought only heroines had to put up with evil doppelganger opposites? heh heh heh.

This pic took so long to finish (which is why I don't like to do these sort of pics often) D: over 7 hrs coloring and a lot more sketching and stuff D: fast sketches are a lot more efficient but this was a pic idea I had for a while after seeing a handful of colmaton heroines vs evil doppelganger events. So... enjoy the mess. I typically don't write stories (I suck) but why not put a short for this.
