By now my Mom is use to getting paintings of close-ups/macros of body parts (horse tongue anyone?) in vivid colors so I went wild with the last Christmas project. 100% the most fun of all the gifts made since the only rule I gave myself for it was using Mom's favorite animal as the subject.12" x 24"

I love how vibrant this is! While doing this kind of crop/close-up is pretty typical, I think the colours make it really stand out in a crowd <3
