Koga watched Jake jump between the bamboo poles with ease. The tips of his claws just barely touching each pole before he would jump to the next one. He nodded his head approvingly although the constant scowl on his face never faded.

"Good. Now again!"

Jake looked over at the ninja master in shock but didn't say anything. Instead he turned around and repeated the exercise for the twentieth time that day.

Something that I have mentioned several times about Jake but never gone into serious detail about was his Ninjutsu training under Elite Four member Koga. To say that the training was intense is a gross understatement. Here we can see a perfect example of that as Jake is forced to jump between thin bamboo poles suspended high above the ground to perfect his balance. He appears to be doing well. Although Koga is clearly not impressed.
