Commission for the lovely
I'm.. kinda iffy with this one, I'm happy with it and at the same time pretty unhappy.. I'm okay with the background and I like how the flower came out, but something about Ruby just seems off to me and it's bothering me beyonndd worrrrds lol.
But I've already re-drawn this so many times, so this is probably as good as it's gonna get.. ): But I'm planning to do a nice gift for Jen in the near future when I'm done all my work, so hopefully that will atleast somewhat make up for it. <3..

Both the colors and the background are two big strengths of this picture as they come together to bring some great detail and really help bring the picture to life.
The next big strength of this is rose itself. Not only does it have a nice detail to it, it really adds to the romantic scene of this picture. The facial expressions is another strength of this picture too, and I really like how both characters came out as well.
I agree with those have said that Ruby's face looking too mature, so what I suggest is practicing getting faces in a more childish look.
