First...this is kinda old, at least the story wise. I was suppose to draw this after the battle with DawnClan. But at last it is done...haha

So I decided that Echostar is VERY prideful. This is going to be fun as leader I love Echostar, I'm happy I'm developing his character more. My stubborn little baby :3

This is Echocall lecturing his apprentice, Nettlepaw.

Nettlepaw followed her mentor out of camp, wondering what they were going to learn today. But something about her mentor, the way he was acting, bothered her. His tail twitched angrily as they walked and his blue eyes were slits.

After a while of walking, Echocall stopped and turned to his apprentice. "What are you going to me today?"

"Respect," He growled. The young she-cat sat and curled her tail around her white paws, giving her mentor a strange look. The white and gray tom suddenly began to pace in front of the apprentice and let out a soft growl. "Never have a met a cat who acted like you did the other day."

Nettlepaw frowned and thought what had happened int the past few days. They had the battle with DawnClan, but before that was the border patrol fight. Hesitantly she spoke softly, "You mean at the border?"

"That is exactly what I mean," He stopped and faced the tabby cat, his ears flat against his head. "What in StarClan's name gave you the right to do what you did?"

"I was defending my clan mates!" She protested, mimicking her mentor's anger.

Echocall laughed, making Nettlepaw flinch, "You call what did defending them? You humiliated your clan mates, you humiliated me. And what is worse? You humiliated Pearlstar and started at war in process! Lives were lost and many injured, that falls on you, Nettlepaw. You started that battle."

Her mentor's words cut deep and she cowered as he towered over her. The young cat shook slightly and held back her tears. She hadn't seen what she'd done as something wrong, she thought she was doing the right thing. So why did Echocall see it as he did?

After a moment of glaring down at Nettlepaw, Echocall turned and walked away. As he walked he thought that maybe he had been to harsh, but he was not going to take back what he had said. The apprentice had to learn from her mistakes and if this is the way she was going to learn, then so be it.
