Naming: In naming your StarWing, it’s name is determined by the constellation on their wings (ex. Queen Cassiopeias constellation is the Cassiopeia constellation)
Ranks: The ranks are in this order from lowest to highest: Servants, Commoners, Middle Class, High Class, Generals, Nobility and Royality
Colours: Colours are more commonly blues, greens, purples and pinks (ranging from all shades, but preferably more darker), but yellows, reds, and oranges are can be found (But are more rare). Only animus StarWings have black in them.
Appearances: Similar in appearance to NightWings are they are closely related, except due to the high altitudes that they live at, their spikes evolved into fur and females are known to have fur on their chests as well. Males have longer and brighter fur, especially at the tip of their tails. Every StarWing has a constellation on their wings
Powers: All StarWings can breathe a bit of fire, but only if their warm enough. If a StarWing has a star shaped scale near their eye, then they can move things with their mind. If there is a circle of star shaped scales on their horns, then they can walk into the dreams of others. The StarWings get their powers the same way NightWings do, being hatched under a full, or two full moons. Animus are the most rare and are they do not get their powers from the moon. It is like the NightWings, and it it passed down through genes. All StarWings are adapted to living in high altitudes and sudden changes in oxygen. (ex. if a StarWing quickly ascends or descends they won't feel sick)
Hybrids: Since StarWings love farther away from the mainland, hybrids are a very rare occurrence. The most common hybrid is the Night/Star hybrid since the volcano island is the closest to their island. StarWings have been known to travel to Pyrrhia, but they are thought of as being a mutated NightWing.
Living: Most StarWings live up in the mountains but a few live down in the forests in little villages and huts. The ones that live in the mountains live in little caves carved into the mountain face. The higher the cave, the higher the rank of the StarWings inside. (Servants live at the base of the mountain while the royalty live in the peaks)
Background: When the NightWings were living on the volcano island, some NightWings could feel that it was killing off their tribe so they decided to leave in search of a new home. They came across a mainly mountainous island and they settled in the mountains. They evolved over a thousand years and began to call themselves the StarWings. Their spikes evolved into fur to keep them warmer and they are more adapt to the cold conditions of the mountains. They also are adapted to being at higher altitudes so the can survive with less oxygen.
