Ha. I had a period of Pumpkin-craziness yesterday. I just kept churning out patterns. They're challenging, but they're so fun!Anyway, here's a Link o' Lantern to keep Midna company! yeah, I got nominated to Oita University, which isn't really one of the big cities but it was my first choice, so I know what they have is what I need to complete certain things for my major. It's reassuring, then two years later I can finally try my chances to Osaka University of Art, by then I should have three years of proficiency.

*fangirl moment* YAYAYAYAYAYAY! I was hoping you'd make a Link one <3 He looks so spiffy! His right eye (our left) looks really delicate though, I imagine it was kind of tricky to do without messing it up.
I wonder if they have an Epona pattern? Or a wolf Link one?

Yeah, this one is slightly trickier than Midna because of the eye. My tip (and maybe I should put this in the artist comments) is to use toothpicks to reattach any parts you accidentally slice off. And yeah, yeah, YEAH that freakin' eye is a definite flaw. I added as many little support branches as I could to make it more stable, but I'll probably improvise a few more when I carve and update the pattern to reflect the changes. Maybe add in some more strands of hair to cover it up slightly...
I was gonna make one based on that famous graphic of Midna riding Link and another one that you'd probably enjoy, but we'll see if that works with the week starting.
