Appearance & Physique:
It’s not the fur that makes Adalin look chubby; she actually has a pretty medium length fur, a mix between her parents. No this kit is actually chubby and will likely continue to be that as she grows up. Height-wise she’s obviously short as a kit but her growth will be slow and it will take a few years before she’s at her mother’s height, just a bit above the average for a female. She clearly got her pelt markings from Lully and, unknowingly to her father, has inherited her grandmother’s beige, clay-like colours. Her eyes however are almost the exact same colour as Basil’s. The fur itself is sleek like her mother’s, soft and fluffy but not pointy like her father’s.

Jolly: Though shy and nervous around strangers or intimidating cats, Adalin is quite the cheerful kitten in any other situation. It’s not that she’s an overly energetic cat and always runs about, she’s just usually very happy, whether it is when she’s lazing around or having fun. The she-cat is often found giggling or smiling and loves to be entertained or play with good friends and family. Though curious and explore-loving as a kit, these traits has become much milder as she has grown. With what she went through, she's less brave and carefree. However, she does still eagerly talk about things, should the subject be something she likes.

Clingy: A cuddle monster. Growing up with very caring parents has made Adalin somewhat clingy. She loves to snuggle up with cats she knows well or feel safe with. She might be a bit hesitant with strangers but if she feels that she can trust them she won’t really care about personal space, though it’s more that she doesn’t understand it. As long as she doesn’t fear a cat, Adalin won’t be afraid to keep herself close to them. She will follow or just generally sit very close to them, even though the cat might not want it (unless they tell her but she’ll be very sad then :c).

Timid: As mentioned, Adalin gets very nervous around cats she doesn’t know or cats she finds intimidating and scary. This could either be because of appearance or personality. The she-cat will mumble or stutter and sometimes she might even run and hide when meeting such cats. Her fear would quickly go away though if the stranger proves to be a kind one. She is not very sharp and can end up trusting others a bit too easily. She would not be very outspoken when with a large group of cats either, at least not if they are all adults.

Transparent: Adalin doesn’t really lie that much, but if she would try to cover something up it would be very obvious as this kit laughs nervously when she tries to lie. She’s like an open book and wears her "heart on her sleeve". She can’t really hide what she’s feeling. It’s not that Adalin would be loud and shout when she’s angry or sad, but it would be very obvious that something is amiss with her. She’s not going to tell what’s wrong right away but with a few questions it’s very easy to get her to spill it out. She blushes too to various things, very easily.

Sweet: Being born first hasn’t really shaped her personality that much, sometimes she will act like a big sister amongst her littermates, sometimes she will be more like a little sister. Adalin's just generally very friendly and much like her parents likes to see other cats happy. She wouldn’t be the one to take the lead, but she also wouldn’t be the one to run last. Adalin doesn’t make sure to take place or tries to be in the center of attention but she wouldn’t let herself get in the shadows either. She’s modest, she likes to help others and be kind to them but she would also like to be as equally loved and cared for. She is very clear with her affection towards others too since she shows it with hugs, cuddles and such.

Hesitant: After the event at her ceremony of light and everything else that happened afterwards, Adalin has slowly grown very cautious about things. Generally it's about other cats, she doesn't feel as eager to get to know new cats in fear that they'll leave her in some way. She'll be wary and might try to not get attatched to new strangers. Even so, Adalin easily likes others and usually she can't help but letting cats into her life. She loves friends, but it's hard when you fear losing them.

Born in the late autumn, Lily, Caydin, Parsley and May became the second litter of the Silver-Light Basil and the Silver-Water Lully. Lily spent most of her childhood exploring the camp with her sisters and befriending older cats residing in Light-Tribe and many of the other kits that had joined them in the nursery, one in particular was Lee, the son to the Yellow-Water, who she came to like right from the start. There was also Sanibel, a friend of her mother, who became something of a babysitter to Lily and her siblings and that was something the beige kitten definitely came to like. Being the odd-colored one out of her dark siblings, Lily would occasionally feel sad about looking so different from them. But Sanibel was pale in her fur, making Lily feel comfortable around the older cat and eventually ended up admiring her a lot.

The Call
Though as moons passed, the bubbly kit slowly became nervous as the Ceremony of Light kept creeping closer. Fearing that she might not end up with her parents, Lily didn't really look forward on getting her tattoo. However, the gathering became much more terrible than anyone could ever have expected. Lily had barely time to cry over getting a tattoo of Earth and not ending up with her family, or even Lee, when six fearsome strangers stormed the gathered group. Each took one of the newly appointed apprentices, one being her sister Caydin, and demanded the authorities to hand themselves over in return for the kits.

Lily didn't know their purpose nor did she listen, all she knew was that her fathered had volunteered and was suddenly taken away. Panic held the frightened kit so much that Sanibel had to calm her down. Eventually she was taken to her new home in Earth and it was not with a dry eye. It was confusing, scary and lonely. Lily, now Adalin, was devastated.

First Confluence
Starting her new life in Earth Tribe wasn't easy. Even if Adalin had Oliver with her, a kit she had come to known while in the nursery together, she still didn't have anyone from her family there. Not only that, her father was still captured and his whereabouts were unknown. So, as young and sensitive as she was, Adalin was an emotional wreck in the beginning. Getting to know Talen-- or Bear as she ended up calling him-- helped her a lot, he was a large, mute tom who seemed to have the same love for cuddles as she did. He made her feel safe simply by providing her comfort and she quickly came to be fond of him. Through him she also came to know Sound and occasionally she ended up meeting friends and family, such as Ozz, Lee and Caydin.

Rose, the older sister she had heard about but never got to meet, returned home in admist of the chaos and brought Adalin much joy due to finally getting to see her. Because Rose-- or Ares-- was like her, looking more like their father, as opposed to their other siblings who took a lot after their mother. Then there was her mentor, Iris. A beautiful she-cat Adalin ended up looking up to and happy to have as a mentor. Although time would prove that their time as apprentice and mentor was limited. When Adalin finally thought things were starting to look up for her, she was brought the news of Iris' death. Being young, she was spared of any information regarding how she had died, though Adalin would probably have not wanted to know either way.

Second Confluence
Sulking in her den, wallowing over the fact that everyone she loved would probably leave her, Adalin was not too eager to meet her new mentor that came to look for her. The first encounter with Aoba didn't start that great seeing as she had decided to lie about who she was, claiming she wasn't Adalin. -Pending-

Though she had been there for a few moons, Adalin had yet to really talk to any of the authorities of her tribe, that is until thunder fell upon the lands one night and-- in fear-- she ran into Kokkinos, the Yellow-Earth. -Pending-

Threshold
Three moons after her ceremony everything seemed to be thrown into chaos again, but Adalin was very blind to this because her father had finally returned home. His dreary appearance startled her at first but in the end she couldn't care less, he was back, that was all that mattered. She spent a few days in Light Tribe during his recovery, taking time to be with those of her family that was there as well, before eventually heading back to Earth.

After that, things went by in a bit of a haze. Adalin slowly came to terms on a few things, mostly her life in Earth Tribe as well as her true name-- she had some trouble liking in the beginning. Even so, her troubled youth had shaken her and by now Adalin had a irrational fear of friends and family leaving her. She became hesitant on meeting new cats or gaining friends.

It would be difficult in the beginning, but someone had to do it. Someone had to go out there and find all the secrets the lands held. Even if she would fall or return not knowing anything more than she had when she left, the tradition had to continue. Some day, someone would find all the answers and perhaps... perhaps it would be her.

Green eyes, staring out from the nursery, grew wide as the little kitten was startled by a sudden call from her mother. Dragged back to the reality, Lily turned around and scuttled back with a giggle only to find herself face down in the ground next to her siblings as her chubby legs had once again felled her. Sitting up, the young girl let out a light sneeze before she squeezed herself into the sleeping bundle her siblings made, grabbing a hold of whoever was closest to her and snuggled up tightly with them.
The adventures had to wait for another day, the warmth from her mother and siblings were more compelling at the moment.
