Description
Ive been working really hard on my art and as part of that ive been redrawing , well sort of redrawing some of my older art. I did a new Dragon Sophie and i wanted to do a new cow Sophie.

The background is quickly done but the character themselves I am really happy with, I think ive managed to get the proportions well done and I am really pleased with how the hair came out.

Anyway, hope people like it!

So Ive always been unhappy with my line quality and felt there was a blurriness to my art around the edges. I thought it was a flaw with my colouring method. Now there is an issue with my line quality and i have been improving it but ive just realised, like literally just realised, a good chunk of this is DA's fault (at least the strange colour banding at the edges of lines) and not mine. DA, when you upload your images, converts nice clean PNG's into nasty artifacted jpegs.

I always draw in 4k, like, i doubt many people want to use my art as wallpapers but hey, theres no harm at drawing at that resolution just in case. I've actually resized to 1080 and re-uploaded to see if it helps the quality, hopefully the jpeg conversion wont screw it up so badly. that does mean I've taken down the 4k file, ill post it to my twitter at some point or something I guess.

Double Edit : So it actually has helped if you zoom in, but the slightly smaller non zoomed in image is still ugly. ugh, this is a pain...
