Description
So I wanted to do something a bit different from my recent Kemonomimi and something similar to this had just happened in one of my tabletop games so I decided to draw this!

I haven't really drawn anything like this before and I find drawing new things intimidating but i'm really rather pleased with how this came out.

The Basilisk itself is nominally based on a Komodo Dragon with the head itself based on a snake. it came out quite crocodilian which is how it was described in game so thats good. The paws havent come out well and the muscles have only kinda worked, this isn't something i'm traditionally good at though so its not really surprising.

the girl drawn from behind is also a pose i haven't drawn before. While the petrification and smaller size helps its not too bad.

The Background is okay. again ive not drawn a background like this. I couldn't really draw proper trees it would have taken forever so is settled for these....It kind of works but it feels so amateur compared to some of the amazing backgrounds some people do. Still its not something ive practised much so I cant be too unhappy.

This was the last thing I wanted to draw so im unsure what's next, maybe some more pokemon stuff though I know the variation is not helpful for people taking a look at my gallery but ho-hum I dont wanna limit myself in what im drawing. Actually on that note im getting pretty close to 1000 pageviews. its weird. ill post an image, it gets some views and dies down after a couple of days but then my page views tick up without any images seeming to be looked at. im slightly unsure what's bringing people to my page (not that im complaining!)

What groups to submit it too is slightly odd I think but ill go look up some other basilisk pictures and see which groups they submitted to
