Having fun yet?
Cid and Stan's idea of pure unadulterated fun is bashing each other's heads in.
Had so much fun drawing this after weeks of not drawing anything. This is one of those drawings that you can flip over or tilt and it still looks fine. I think...
Just pencils for now. I just hope this turns out okay when I color it. It'll be a challenge.

I'm really really hoping I don't mess up the colors. I wanted to go for the 'painterly' style but I'm kind of nervous so I'm debating on doing that or just the usual flats like in comics. Gah!

Uhm... I really don't know what to say...
The digital painting is a challenge, but you will learn a lot! And probably this drawing is a very good exercise: you will have to do a lot of shading!
On the other hand, flat colours is a little faster... So maybe you can choose this option, depending on your free time 
Imho, you have more potential in digital painting (I was thinking about that Kakashi's portrait, the one that your friend helped you to refine)!
And anyway... You will see the work in progress and decide while you're woking if you like what you're doing, won't you?

I really want to do the painting style. I'm just not very confident yet. But then it'll be a learning experience. It'll probably take a lot of time before it's done though. I'll see what I can do.

I wanted a fun fight and started sketching then just basically went with my gut and wherever my hand took the pencil. hehe. There are anatomical anomalies but I think they can be fixed with colors or minor edits. 
I am looking forward to the coloring part. Won't tell you how it'll be. But I am hoping it'll turn out okay.
Now... finding the time to color is another matter entirely.

My gut instinct is mostly reliable. It's my brain and my hand that is mostly uncooperative.

Watched NCIS again. I'm in love with the show. And Christ.
Totally cracked up when Callen (Chris) and Sam (LL) argued over Callen never listening to Sam. After volleying 'yes i do' and 'no you don't', Callen finally walked away saying 'I do listen.'
Sam yelled after him, "No you don't!"
Kenzie, their female teammate asked Sam, "How long have you two been married?"
And of course, Mikee just had to tell me again... "They're like Stan and Cid."
