Poor guy doesn't have his favorite person with him at the moment and has to make do with a little fluffy bunny.
Haven't drawn Renji in a long time. Figured it's about time I did.
This is one of those things that I hoped would look good, but no matter how hard I tried it just didn't turn out the way I wanted. After a few hours, I just had to stop trying before I got mad at my lack of skill.
It was good practice though and I should do this more. Maybe after a few hundred tries, I'll get better.
Plus Renji needs a neck. Still need to get my ass into gear to finish the adjusted pic.
Learn some, makes mistakes and learn some more. Never stop learning.

I like the overall result. I think you are pretty good at anatomy. I love the concept that he, having a warrior-like tough look, is sleeping with a fluffy bunny. Interesting concept.

There's a lot of speculation about that, though I don't think kubo has issued an official statement.
The one I agree with is that it's a manifestation of the power he's gained.
More appear as he grows stronger. It's the same markings as Zabimaru has. It's probably linked like that.
