Personality:
Aavya is a caring and compassionate girl who’s always willing to listen to someone’s problems. She wants to help heal in any way possible whether that’s just listening to someone vent or splinting a twisted ankle. She’s quiet which can be good for listening but is not the best for communicating on the battlefield. She’s also quite curious which can teach her new things but can often get her into trouble as well. She’s quite skittish and is easily scared and intimidated by others. While she’s good at helping others she’s actually quite insecure and is desperate to please those around her. She doesn’t really believe in herself or her strength and tends to see herself as a failure but she’s using that mentality to try and grow stronger.

History:
Aavya was born in a small village of mostly eevees built around a large shrine. A highly religious community, when she was born with bright silver hair she was seen as a sign from the gods and brought to live and study in the shrine from then on. She was believed to be a miracle child and was taught to speak to the gods and worship them as a maiden. However the special treatment came with the mentality of putting her on a peristal which made her feel disconnected from her community. There were no young children in the shrine to befriend and she wasn't often let out, having too many chores and duties to fulfill. From a young age the community expected a lot out of her and it caused many of the insecurities she still harbors today.

On her eighteenth birthday she performed the sun ritual and gained her green coloring. She revived the gem she now wears on her forehead. She continued to perform her duties as a maiden and was now one of the key pieces in ceremonial rituals and holidays. Word of the miracle child had spread through the land to the nearby villages over the years and brigands had eventually learned of her existence. The child of fortune had brought misfortune to the small village when it was raided and pillaged by the barbarians looking for her. She was barricaded in the shrine and was unable to help or stop the bloodshed in any way as the village tried fruitlessly to protect her.

The brigands eventually broke into the shrine and stole her away, the girl having no way to fight back as she had only ever been taught to heal. They demanded the miracles from her that the rumors have spoke of and refused to listen to her when she tried to explain that other than her coloring there was nothing special about her. She couldn't perform any miracles or even interpret the wishes of the gods any more accurately than any other shrine maiden. They of course didn't believe her and began to threaten her with death but was during that time that she was rescued by the Ethovalon army. Knowing that she didn't have a village to return to and wanting to thank them for saving her life she offered her healing services to them and began traveling with them. Since then she has been learning how to defend herself with her psychic energy.
