that looks do cool.
the only part that bugs me is the rough patches at he front of the scope.
IT would also make a good tech wizard weapon in RIFTS I think.

Superior craftsmanship chief, I reallyΒ am a fan of those resinΒ gems, I don't know why I never thought of an egg mold for gem creation before but you certainly nailed this. Any thoughts onΒ my nerf projects from one modder to another would really be appreciated, but once again spot on work!Β

This is awesome.
The level of detail is incredible -- everything just aesthetically fits together and looks authentic! Spot-on, down to the shading on the paints. This Eldar fangirl and costume geek is very impressed!
(Also, thank you for showing me that Nerf has so much potential~! )

i wanted to make a warlock costume. but i have no skills for fiberglass and what not.

Thank you!, it looked over sized on me when I did a test run on the weekend that just passed but few people said it was ok it's fine XD, Warlock would be cool it same helmet but a shorter chin, I never had any skills in fiberglassing but it's the same a painting, just do brush the resin on the fiberglass matting.
if you want to make one I used a program called Pepakura you can download here >>[link] << and download the file of the helmet here >>[link] << all you have to do is print out the pages and look at the 3D image to cut, fold and glue the pieces.

anyways. did u see the new eldar stuff? theres a character ranger. he's without helmet. maybe u can do that too.

Well i'm focusing on the Ranger right now, i would like to try out a Striking Scorpion but I'll will more or less fail at it but I'll see on what I can do

UNRELENT In reply to SnuggleMoogle [2013-05-06 19:31:31 +0000 UTC]
you read my mind - I was just wondering what your take on a Striking Scorpion's powerfist would look like when I saw this! The Ranger is a pretty good idea, since you can use lots more cloth then armor on the costume. Less work in the long run.

Don't look at me - that always gives me a headache, and I've never managed to tackle it. Prop weapons, yes, but body armor makes me cringe.

yeah... but somehow i'm more tempted to make Eldrad Ulthran after this, make the same helmet but with more detail then plain nothing

This is fantastic. To see the potential in a Longstrike to make something this cool. Like all great ideas, it seems so obvious now that someone has thought it up! Way better than those millions of awful steampunk mods.
