Part five of my series, reflecting my observations on life through cherries.
Subject: The Simple Things in LifeAs I have lived in a quiet area since my late school years and university, my friends have all now moved on and I rarely see people outside of work. I look around my room and see a computer, widescreen tv, home cinema, PS2 and stacks of cds and dvds. Why do I surround myself with more and more of these things that I don't really need? Are they really a substitute for true friends and do they really make me any happier? The simple answer is no they do not. The honest truth is that it is the simple things in life that matter such as good friends, good food and a warm bed. These are the things we really appreciate, and miss most when they're gone.

Cherry!
I like the idea, but not as much as I like the picture itself. The cherry is just... so close that I can almost taste it. And the feathers look so soft that it makes me feel a bit sleepy. The white surrounding that cherry is really... empty, in a relaxing way.
This picture makes me smile and feel good. +faved.

I know I am a little bit late with commenting... but as I said before, I totally adore your cherry-series and I adore your creativity to take this pictures
The contasr of red and white still works very good, but it is that "fluffy" (the feathers) and "fresh and firm" contrast that is really convincing in this pic.
And I agree with your text...
