Description
This is my first digital drawing of a horse! I sketched the outline using paint and painted with GIMP 2, added the grass and sky with Adobe Photoshop. You could say that the bright environment shows a sense of happiness and joy

I love the tone of the muscles on the horse and how you've shaded it makes it look so realistic. the proportions of the horse are brilliant as well.
there's few things wrong with this piece in my opinion.
However,what I'd say to you to improve it would be the colour of the grass e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="
Also the sky, i see there's only one shade of blue in there and alot of white. I think the blue you've used should be the lighter colour then you should use another blue that's a bit darker and slightly grayer in colour. this will make your sky appear more realistic which keeps the realisum thoughtout your piece.
Also the horse's left ear is bigger than the right, and it should be the other way round. it's only slightly bigger though.
Also the legs seem a little short. this may be because i don't often draw horses or fav art of horses but they just seem a little to short to me. it's probs just my eyes lol
but apart from that ^^ epicness!!

amazing XD *fave* i like the fact that you didn't smudge the hair as well
you have GIMP too awesome XD i wish i had photoshop for the grass brushes though :/ on GIMP the grass is a pain to draw. i've made my own brushes on GIMP but when i tried to do an animated brush it didn't work so then i have to do the normal brushes and change it all the time. gets very annoying.

you're welcome ^^ ikr! yeah i know XD i use it at school, i get frustrated sometimes because GIMP and photoshop are different it annoys me sometimes because i find photoshop a little harder lol, yeah. yeah it is :/ sometimes it's the background that takes the longest to draw. i mean before i knew how to creat brushes i think it took me like a day to draw the grass *sigh*
