Trying something a tad different... more or less a different approach to a style i have played with in the past... I really need to fix my scanner, i ended up painting way to many splats :/

Ooh, I love it. Escaping ink. Or, you know, something cool like that. = D
I'm not sure the dribbles from her eye are quite following the shape of her face there, but then they do follow it so well coming down from the ear so maybe that's intentional. 
I think in my personal taste I'd have gone for a cleaner background. ^^ I would have rathered less of the worn effects there, to enhance the contrast of the colours. But that's just me o' course. = D
And all this scrutinising and I only just noticed the hand. =O Gotta say, I love that /so/ much. Looks like she's really trying to hold onto something there (be it mental or physical). Really adds to the emotiveness for me.

thanks for the great comment man!! yah i had done ones with a more stark background with good results, but i wanted to present it diffrently. The hand!!! someone mentioned it
if you look closely its not a hand at all... well i mean... its supposed to be a hand, but its not real, its painted with smudie brush strokes scanned in... i didnt think anyone was going to notice it
