It could be interpreted differently depending who's viewing it.

Personally, when I drew this I was thinking of my platonic friends who were there for me, however I love the Twiluna pairing sooooo...

if you need a concrete answer- it's BOTH. Because I firmly believe that everyone should be lucky enough to be in love with their best friend.

I love that idea, too - I'm not in love with my best friend, but.... unfortunately, I am in love with two people at the same time.

But yeah, Twiluna is one of my favorite pairings too. x3 I can't really see Twi with anyone else (especially Trixie!), so...

I usually TRY to fall for those who are my friends first...it just makes it a little easier.

Anddd yeaa I agree. I really like Twilight and I never paired her with anybody until Luna Eclipsed because I just didn't see any potential chemistry with anybody else...(Trixie is not my favorite pony, personally, though I do sympathize with her).

I fell for the Twiluna bug pretty hard because I have a strong romantic fascination for immortal / dead pairings. Like, in example: Casper and Kat, Lydia and Beetlejuice, Kenny and Stan.... ect... those are the ones that I remember off the top of my head that have always really stuck with me.

And I do LOVE the fanon concept of Celestia retiring to the stars leaving Twilight and Luna to rule together, thus...making Twilight immortal too I guess. But in the meantime, the whole "I cant die- you can" just pulls at my heart strings. It always has.

Well, I met this girl at band camp, and I didn't EXACTLY fall for her then; I was "straight" then, and even now I'm still having trouble coming to terms with my sexuality.
I wish I could've chosen to have not fallen for her, as it's making my life so much more difficult, but... I can't really help how I feel. :/ It makes me feel weak in that regard...

Trixie's not my favorite either, but it's kinda like Gilda... people should stop making her some slutty sex symbol, bashing on her, etc. just because she was a braggart in ONE episode. For all we know, she could have been bullied herself by other unicorns. We probably never will find out!

I like that concept too. XD The Luna/Twilight grows old is pretty good too... There was a really good story out there about it, but I can't remember who wrote it or what precisiely it was called.

And haha, you're not weird. XD You just have interests!

Yeah we were friends first and there was a lot of flirting and we had a general fluffy connection... but I don't know. He has a really busy schedule and it was just hard to keep in contact and the texting got less and less until eventually not at all. It stings but if the chemistry was fading, I suppose its best not to force it.

Yeah I can understand that. That's what happened between me and my ex fiancee. I had to find a job to make an income and I became so busy and her with her college stuff everything just fell apart. Life has a strange way of working out but hey I'm still trucking through. I accepted the loss though it still hurts. But I think I turned out better for it. And hey I just 21 so I can always try the Bar....maybe not lol

being a misanthropist i really can't get into that "i'm sorry for your lose" kinda thing and most people think that makes me an asshole but nonetheless you don't just "fall" into a hole called "friend-zone" you end there by choice (maybe by theirs, maybe by yours), either you did to little or to much, what do i know... by doing nothing your doing something, it didn't happen on auto-pilot... anyway, there are millions and millions of people in the world, there isn't such a thing as a soul mate, so you will find something else (unless you drag yourself down a hole and refuse to come out of it).

I didn't do anything. It was scheduling. He's very busy and I believe he still has feelings for his ex. :/ We were friends first and the lack of contact faded the chemisty.

I don't drag myself down anywhere. I'm sure I'll be fine ...I'm ridin' solo. 8D
