I really enjoy working in this style!
An older Sarah this time, not quite as sinister looking as I wanted but I quite like how she looks.

I adore this. So perfect (I love the crystal ball necklace)... I think she's the right mix of sinister and not-so... I don't believe Sarah would ever be totally sinister. After all, someone needs to keep the King in line, no?

Sinister was probably too strong a word to use. I meant I wanted Sarah to look older and darker; from a dark fantasy rather than a high fantasy. As for keeping the king in line, I think Sarah is just as cruel and selfish as he is, if not more... add the power of being queen to that mix and....well who knows

I hear you. I think you accomplished making her darker, and definitely older, but still very beautiful... without being jaded or "hard". Perfection, if you want one word.
What I LOVE about Labyrinth fan fiction is that Sarah is so malleable. You can take her in just about ANY direction and justify it. She learned from the Labyrinth, she didn't. She ended up loving Toby and her stepmother, she didn't. She had a crush on the GK, she didn't. Very fun to take her story in different directions.

She looks dangerously intelligent. What an impressive Queen the Goblin King has, looking so shrewd and razor sharp. I can tell she sees through BS like it's a window.
