It's a piece by a composer named Giuseppe Tartini. The story is that he dreamed he was visited by the Devil.
I suppose being a composer he wanted to test the Devil's (musical) skill and handed him his violin. Tartini was so blown away by what he had heard he tried to jot down all he could remember. The result was the violin solo know as the Devil's trill.
Even though it was famous Tartini digressed that it far from measured up to what he had heard and if he had any other option he would have given up on music.
I've heard a rendition of it on an anime before, and it sounds pretty complicated, espcially at the end it hit an almost inhuman pace!
The look on Azure Kite's face reminded me of that particular part.

That would make it harder. But they usually write in who wrote that particular arrangement on the sheet music.

I see. That sounds very interesting. Imma DL the song tonight, just to hear the sound. I love violins, especially the way musicians can make them cry and sing. Pure beauty IMHO.

I really like the original .hack//, .hack//SIGN, and .hack//GU; I slightly dislike the mangas cause they veered so far off from the games, and I absolutely HATE .hack//DUSK (Shugo sucks.) and .hack//LINK (Kite dies in the first chapter? What the hell was up with that?). That covers about everything, right? Ah, and I worship 4koma. It's AMAZING.
