Description
Thallassus is a horribly deformed and aggressive experiment made by Vermince. After his failed attempt with Suchus-02, Vermince decided to have another go with APEX genetics and sought to create a marine bio-weapon. After losing his mind via the events that took place with the Silvition, Verminces scientific skills became distorted and twisted. This resulted in Thallassus's grotesquely malformed appearance. Regardless, Thallassus's purpose still holds true to its nature, which is to violently attack other APEX's and Silvition sea-vessels at every turn. It can stop whatever its doing and immediately change focus due to the control chip planted within its skull, sending signals which to it, means food. While deformed and disfigured, Thallassus is still a formidable foe, using its powerful tail fin to push itself through the sea with surprising speed. Its leathery wing-like fins end on multiple hands with claws fingers, good for holding onto APEX's such as Sobek. Thallassus's ugly jaws protrude jagged and uneven teeth, a good tool for powerful and deep bites into the flesh. The bottom jaw is so terribly structured, it split 3-ways and each work as tentacle-like appendages, also useful for a grappling bite. While under Red Order control, Thallassus will not hesitate to attack them too, if caught in its sightlines. Its imbalance with life and death serves it to be one of the more dangerous APEX's around, leaving it in a position where its better off being put down. Due to the creatures thick hide and aquatic mobility, capturing the creature is no easy feat. Despite its aggressive and uncontrollable nature, Thallassus has only been spotted a few times in the bay, casually strolling along the waves. When not in combat, the beast acts as if it were dead, barely moving and showing no forms of breathing. Only when its sickly black eyes spot prey does it spring into action, brutally charging it down and landing a good chomp, before thrashing back and fourth till something tears off. It is surely an unsettling monster, arguably the Jade Abyss's most grotesque beast to swim the seas.
