This is an age old question that plays into how the character should look and how he should act. This is also a great refresher as to what exactly are the motives behind Sobek as a kaiju. So let me explain where the redesign will lead Sobek to.

Sobek stands out among the crowd of kaiju. Where as most general Kaiju are created to rule their worlds, act as natural forces, and engage in awesome fights, Sobek has different motives. Sobek is a predator, created by scientist to be THEE ultimate killer. It is built into his system that he was bred to completely wipe the competition, and has jumped even further then the limitations that were made. What no one expected however was that Sobek has a perk up his sleeve that allows his body to adapt and evolve near instantly. This can be seen as he ages through his various evolutions, giving him a fighting edge. Along with these physical evolutions, Sobek has a gland in his body which pumps powerful chemicals into the bloodstream, making every single movement of his body lethal and full force. This gland is called the Frenzy gland, and it acts as a reactor within Reps body, physically hulking out the body, and mentally making the mind turn red with rage. Sobek is in constant dispute with the power of this frenzy gland, as it turns him into a savage mountain sized beast whenever it is activated. Through stress, anger, and sadness, the frenzy gland can be activated, and completely takes over the brain functions of Sobek, resulting in a Godzilla sized kaiju with absolutely no limitations as to the damage it may cause. Besides this, Sobek is a tanky brawer that exeeds in hand to hand combat. Rep has powerful arms, with equally strong hands, capable of having a clenching grip. You will be thrown around, thrashed violently, and used as a weapon to beat other foes up with all at the same time if grabbed. With a bulky upper body and muscle powered tail, No kaiju wishes to be head on with the jaws of the jungle. And that leads us to Reps most lethal weapon. Most kaiju, including the king of the Monsters himself, specialize in ranged attacks that can cause AOE damage. Sobek however, needs only his jaws to seal the deal. As you can see, Sobek has the jaws of a Crocodilian, which is the family with the strongest biteforce in the animal kingdom. This is no different in the kaiju world, and means that a single bite from Rep can spell certain death. The jaws arent designed to slice flesh off the bone. These jaws are designed to lock you in place, so that once again, he can just thrash, throw, and beat others to death with you. The bone crushing force could be the defining force of whether other kaiju can even escape an engagement with Rep. Saying all of these benefits, there are some heavy downsides. Sobek like all Crocodilians burns through energy quickly. This energy can take a bit to regain, and leaves him vulnerable to attacks in these moments. Along with stamina restrictions, Sobek can easily be baited via taunts, also leaving him potentially exposed to lethal single blows. Among all of this, Sobek also has issues controlling his own thoughts. Rep has issues with shifting between a predatory savage mindset, and a mellow passive animal. This is because of A: what he was brainwashed into doing, and B: because the frenzy gland has such a strong hold on his wellbeing. These mindgames can work in enemies favor, as long as they can survive the frenzied form long enough for it to wither down Rep's energy.
