So I love Gary Oldman, but he just isn't Sirius to me and David Thewlis... well, I can barely think of anyone who looks less like Remus, at least, in my opinion.The PoA film was just basically a huge fugly fest.

It's interesting, because I agree with you about Gary Oldman, but I thought that David Thewlis as Lupin was one of the best played characters in all of the movies so far...

That's so true. I hate HP movies. The characters have no longer the description of the book... I know people can't be EXACTLY like the book characters and yes, I know the the movie isn't EXACTLY like the books, but stilll... Lupin is a young person, people! Unlike the movie one, geez... And Sirius is suposed to be handsome, tall and have LONG hair. Who are they trying to fool?

I could go on for HOURS about how they completely messed up the two most awesome characters ever! With Sirius, the guy who played him could've done a great job, I could stretch my mind to make him a little older than I imagined, but the DID IT WRONG!

well....umm...after all....sirius DID have to go to azkaban and everything..i meann..jeeez..who wouldn't look like crap afterwards? he's not supposed ot be handsome anymore..he was supposed ot loo klike hell when he broke outta azkaban..and the fact that hes half mentally insane..or al ittle more..who wouldnt look that way?? and after transformations of remus's kinds...and he probably had a weee bit attakcing done to him..hes supposed ot look old too..remember...they are both supposed to be like 40-almost 50 now..... so..of course..i mean..they dont have bo flex or anything..and i do beleive they want to look natural instead of using potions and such...aw well....my opinion..doesn't matter if uliek it or not.

There are too few people out there who actually see the PoA movie for what it is...a peice of crap. WHAT WAS WITH LUPIN'S MUSTACHE?!?! And yeah, the werewolf looked ...just..like a giant hairless rat-dog....

I think they did a great job on the movie, though there are things I would've fixed. the werewolf needed more fur. If it had been daytime, we would've been able to see...um....shutting up.

LMAO! Man, this is hilarious. I love it. Although, I have to say, I saw the movie and I rather liked Gary Oldman. I just wish they had changed his appearance...I mean, everyone knows that Sirius and Remus are supposed to be hot! Oh well, no use crying over it anymore. I agree with the bad choice of Remus, but Gary Oldman looks quite good as Sirius (he got the scraggly look quite well) Anyway, if you can think of a better English actor for Sirius other than Gary Oldman, keeping in mind that Sirius WOULD be about 35-40 years old in the book (around the age Gary Oldman is) than I'd like to hear it!

Although the actor for Remus is quite a bad one, because Remus doesn't have a moustache that crappy at all. If it was a cool moustache than that would be ok, but not a pathetic one like that! Remus is also suppose to be even more raggidy than Sirius, so why does he have a perfectly crisp suit?!

This is really funny. I guess the casting doesn't bother me, 'cause I'm not a big Black & Lupin fan. But honestly Lupin is supposed to look older than he actually is, isn't he?
