Not had a whole lot of time for new art so here have some concepts I hammered out a few weeks back of Lucy for the ol' Zombie AU Bandwaggon. AU's are fabulous, be quiet.

Mooooostly posting this to avoid punishment this week because I'm working on a punishment which has to do with ZOMBIE CIRCUS so I guess I'll be posting more art from this AU anyway. So this is like a pre-curser or something. This was super fun to do and I was totally inspired at the time, so it was good fun to do c: The design needs some tweaks, but this is pretty much Close Enough?

Lucy's quieter in this universe. She's a lot less needy/obsessed with peoples approval. Partly to do with her altered backstory, partly to do with APOCALYPSE. Still her kind, loving self, and awesome at entertaining people to boot, just a lot less show-offy than her Teen Titans counter-part. Her more obnoxious personality traits are mostly still in there, only more diluted. A bit rougher and tougher around the edges overall.
Uses swords and knives as her main survival tool because she sucks at using guns she's B.A. like that.
She sticks around at the Circus even after everything is zombies because (a) Emotional attachment (b) It's pretty good shelter and stuff. She's got nice safe places she can retreat to and defend. Keeps the weather off. Reliable storage place for her stash of supplies etc. (c) ....She has no idea that there's any other survivors/better places out there to be perfectly honest. And going out in search of them would be dangerous at best, potentially fatal. So she's not super willing to take that risk.
