Presenting why I haven't gotten anything done for the past week, part seven.LAST PAGE, HAHA. Pretty short comic, but damn did it take a long time. And to think it was based on this random impulse I got. Heh.
You know what? Doing this actually killed my Light Caramel marker. Do you hear me? KILLED. ONE OF MY. PROFESSIONAL. ARTIST'S MARKERS. WITH ONE COMIC.
But it was so worth it. And they make refills, so it's all good.
OH. ALSO. Thought I'd put in the translation to "Dies Irae" (what 6 is singing) because it's part of what inspired this madness.
Day of wrath, that day
Shall consume the world in ashes

Awesome comic! I think my two favorite frames are the one where 2's death is reflected in his optics and then the one where he waves to his own soul. Something about those two frames are very meaningful to me. Thanks for sharing this beautifully detailed work. I faved every page!

Ahh, heck. I seriously have tears in my eyes now, this was simply so poignant. It makes me truly feel for 6, knowing what he does. I can't imagine what it must be like, looking at someone and knowing they're going to die in a rather horrible fashion.
I think the fact this ended on a note of hope makes it all the more moving. Great work on the colors, it all looks quite splendid.

Great job, it was a short comic but I can see how it really wraps itself up well like this. And so the Dies Irae was part of the inspiration for this, interesting. Hope you make more comics sometime, keep it up. ^^

D8 Poor marker. It's always sad when a pencil, marker, or whatever dies when you do something you love. I think this comic was well worth the sacrifice, though. It turned out really great.
