Random fan art is random. Mufasa about to do something "brave" but foolish...and Scar knows it. I like to think young Mufasa was a lot like young Simba, trying to be brave/prove himself without thinking things through. His brother on the other paw, was smarter than that. A lot like Thor and Loki...yeah I went there. 
The sketch was nicer but that's typical. I always mess things up when I ink/color.
