After almost three weeks (life has been busy) and plenty of hand cramps, I finally finished this monstrosity! I'll always have my nitpicks (especially with coloring) but I still think this is my best attempt at a dinosaur ever. It helped that Jurassic Park 3 was on TV the other night -- listening to rampaging dinosaurs and blood curdling screams while I worked on this was quite inspiring. Anyways! This is part of that ongoing "story" that started with a sketch of Kit petting a baby t-rex and the simple thought of: "Kit really shoulda been in that "Paradise Lost" episode!" Seriously, he should have. Don't get me wrong, it was a good ep but... TS just needed more Kit in general. He deserved more of the spotlight, damnit. The show also needed more Don Karnage. And a flippin' spin-off series about the Kit's days as a pirate... or (even better) a theatrical sequel to the show based on a certain fan fiction. But you all know how I feel. XD

The characters are all fully inked to make them stand out better while the background was done completely with colored pencils to give it more of a faded look. I tried to add some extra details in like jungle vines and dinosaur scales; overall I'm pretty happy with it. That's not to say I don't prefer the sketch (because I always prefer the sketch) but I don't dislike the color either. Please stay tooned folks, because I'm gonna have a comic sequel to this coming up sometime this weekend.
