Rascal: Why, mama? Why do they wanna take us away just because we're "pit bulls"? We're GOOD DOGS!! Well...maybe not Demon....Demon: I'm right here you little #$@%!....
Rascal: But we're not all like him! In fact, most of us aren't like him at all! I thought humans were our friends...
Pibbles: They are. Not all humans are bad...
Demon: Bullshit. Humans are trash and you know it. Are you really surprised by any of this?
Pibbles: That's not true. The ones that want to hurt us just don't understand us...and they fear what they don't understand. They'll learn...learn to open their hearts and minds, to see us as we really are...
Demon: And me? Yeah. I'll show them exactly who I really am.
Pibbles: I know who you really are...and it's not the monster they want you to be. Don't...it'll only make things worse.
Demon: Don't they deserve it?
Pibbles: No! Dee, please...
Demon: Time to wake up from your fantasy hippie land, Pibz.

Random little story with this one, it's been a long time since I've done anything like that!
Anyways, while part of this is just me having fun with my characters there is something very real and urgent that inspired it. If you haven't yet heard, Montreal just passed a horrible law to ban all "pit bull type" dogs. Now thousands of innocent lives are on the line and loving families could be torn apart by breed discrimination. The Montreal SPCA is taking legal action against this outrageous law: www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montrea⦠We all need to stand with them. BSL sucks!

Any dog has the potential to hurt people. I don't understand why people have problems pit bulls it's not like they're all bad.

I hate BSL I know for a fact pitbulls make great family pets. I've been around many well mannered pits I hope to get one someday.

It's been the law in Los Angeles for a number of years as well as most of southern California. Since we were pitbull owners, it's one of the reasons why we left the state!
