Awesome work! I always love to see other people do Jessica. hehe Were you the one who said you did the hair with magnets, by the way??

sodacan In reply to cryinginreddesigns [2014-05-07 12:20:06 +0000 UTC]

Thanks and yes, it was me. I used magnets to shape the hair in this style. It was pretty close already. I just needed the more dramatic over the eye effect.

wow! That's better than what I did with that hairstyle. I manipulated it in photoshop but I agree! It really is the best hair for her! I'll have to look for some hair magnets somewhere. Thanks!

YW! If you use Daz, they are called D-Formers. In Poser, they're called magnets. Don't know if they still have them in the newer versions but they were great for morphing items to get a better fit or even changing a figure.

These images for example, I used D-Formers on the shirts to get a fit to cover their chest since there were no proper morphs in the shirts
Β  Β

Poison's breasts uses D-formers to get the squeeze under the shirt look.

and Bloo's arms were created using them.

Can be a pain to use but it gets the job done.

Nice!!! Yes I use DAZ. So, I know of D-formers...never used them. Are they built in then or what?
Great work on those characters! Poison looks amazing. I've been working on trying to do Chun-Li as well as Vega. I just can't find a mask for him.
Thanks for the help.

They come with Daz and you add them to the character, clothing or object you want to deform. Just click on the item area and use the handles to change the mesh of the object. It takes some practice but I use them a lot. Most of the time to fix poke through and fit issues.

I did a Chun-Li image a while back. I had posted it but deleted it for some reason. I don't remember it being that awful....

Oh thanks! I've never used them before, after all these years. heh. I will check them out.

Hmm. Well you should put it back up! I'm a big SF fan (er, um, obviously)!!

I realized why i couldn't find it. I never did Β a Chun Li image. It was an image of Kasumi I posted and then deleted. Both have blue kimonos so as someone who never played either game, I was confused.

Yeah I'm liking them already! The possibilities are endless!

sodacan In reply to cryinginreddesigns [2014-05-24 11:52:31 +0000 UTC]

They become an essential part. You'll soon be using them like adding a pair of use or another garment.

Here is the Kasumi image. Not great but not as bad as I remember....

cryinginreddesigns In reply to sodacan [2014-05-20 01:49:20 +0000 UTC]

haha let's hope not! And anyway, you could always do what I do periodically and redo stuff, especially when you've progressed! I'd love to see them regardless.

OH and btw, went and messed with the deformers! I think they've changed my life... or at least the way I use DAZ from now on. Β Β

Files spread across 4 bkup drives may take me a while to find it.

Yes, D-formers really add a whole new level things you can do with you figures and clothing. The more you work with them, the more you'll understand the zones which in turn expands what you can do with them.

Thanks! This is V4. I experimented with Jessica using A3 and Aikotoon but I think I like this version the best. Not really a toon but it has that sultry quality that says Jessica.

Thanks again!

how did you manage to attach the hair to the model? manually?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

sodacan In reply to ISIKOL [2012-12-08 06:08:02 +0000 UTC]

The hair is a prop and I used magnets to adjust the shape.

Furbs3D In reply to sodacan [2012-06-01 02:52:14 +0000 UTC]

Your Jessi version was created using Aiko4, right???

Have you tried to portray Jessica with the GILDA Poser/DAZ model????

It is a freebie... and it is a "very" accurate replica of JessicaΒ΄s classic toon figure.

I do not remember the name of its creator... but it is a very cool model.

sodacan In reply to Furbs3D [2012-06-01 06:23:23 +0000 UTC]

Yes, this is Aiko 4 with some other morphs. The figure your thinking of is by Arduino. I haven't used it. May be something to check out

Gildsoul [2011-12-19 02:04:21 +0000 UTC]

Damn, Poser and Daz figures are getting better all the time! I bought the first version of Poser over a decade ago and the figures were blocky and crude.
It used to be when you wanted to use a 3D figure of this quality you had to spend a week building it or pay through the nose for a character file!

WOW!

Could you do a shiny vinyl plastic and a solid gold version of Jessica?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

sodacan In reply to Gildsoul [2011-12-23 14:18:33 +0000 UTC]

They are getting better. The Genesis figures from Daz are really impressive. Not sure what you mean by shiny vinyl plastic, like skin tone but with a plastic doll skin effect?

of course there are aiko but.... the first thin I see is jessica
but.... you... you used Aiko... so you see Aiko. me... I see Jessica
so it's jessica!
tell me: how time did you spent to do this morph?
