Has this actually happened to me once in minecraft? No... It has happened like FOUR GOD DAMNED TIMES! (well... excluding the finding of the signed copy of the bible
) lol, it is so frustrating to hear diamond tools melt as the game over screen appears 
Anyways, aside finding giant caves full of treasure and lava while digging, minecraft is so amazing and addicting, I must have dropped like 30 hours into it. I'd say the next biggest story would have to be me deciding to build an under water observatory, or a huge rail bridge and rail system leading underground, only to discover 6 hours has flown by without me noticing

Lava caves frustrate me; thats why I build a cheast to keep my ores halfway down!

Don't forget a couple furneces so you can smelt iron and gold while you mine. Also surround te chest area with torches.
