Synopsis: "Sofia and the gang want to win the enchanted science fair, but it may come at the cost of their friendship."

This is certainly an episode to talk about. Let me say why I like it. Sofia is pretty good. She learned in "Blue Ribbon Bunny" to put friendship before competition, and would try to keep everyone together in this episode. Amber and James both act believably. They've both been shown to be competitive before, like in "Tri Kingdom Picnic" and "Princess Butterfly". It works well here since they want to win the fair for Roland, who hasn't won it, as well as the fact that they're on opposing teams. Plus, they have other characters to work off of, like Desmond, Vivian, and Khalud. The adventurous aspect of the episode was handled well. We get cool bits of trivia, plenty of good twists and turns, good humor, and good character interactions when trying to get the hocus crocus. We also get a musical number where Sofia brings everyone together to work on the project. It ends on a good moral on how friendship and teamwork are the key to success, even if it's not worded that way. It's a good episode.
