Martina gets rid of the elvish ears as she finds them offensive, and she channels power so she can get to the Regent.

Drow magic. The Regent and her servants are behind several yards of solid rock, protected by powerful magic. Martina prepared for this eventuality, feasting on the life force of the morning's sacrifices, inserting the runesword into the rockface.

The stone turns to slag as the sword slices through the cavern wall like butter. Soon she finds herself in front of a solid wooden door that resist the heat of her blade. Her magic is up to the task and she reforms the blade into a battleaxe, whittling away at the door. Under her powerful blows, the door disintegrates in a matter of seconds...

A sorceress steps in front of the regent, summoning powerful magic to annihilate the blackguard...
