I got some ideas to make it in a simple way...I'm not a good sewer so well...it's gonna be a lot of improvisation I think ^^
First I nead a leather catsuit or something tht fits for the mara jade costume. Then under it I'm going to make a sort of tunique with the armpieces on. The cape is quite simple, I only think I have to sew the holes for the wire-system and that's a freaky job same with the rmpieces. Bracelets are not that hard to make, and the pants, boots, and so on are quite standard.

Ah, we'll see if I ever have the time to start this

Awesome! Looks like you got it all mapped out. That's one thing I'll never be able to do; make clothes. Or just sew in general. I sort of failed sewing in Home Economics. I have always wanted to cosplay though... just for fun or something. There's no conventions near my home town though, and I don't really have another friend into comics as much as I do.

oh maybe you can find a club or something that can help you with it? In my near area, people just think I'm strange, wearing those costumes, but I'm connected with some clubs. So I know some people who can give me advise and eventually help me. Some even got contacts with pro's to just let you buy a costume. Very handy if you want one but can't sew yourself.

Oh, yeah, if ya' ever get around to making the costume, put it in your gallery!! I love to see how things are translated from the sketch to the actual outfit. (oh yeah, sorry for the emo rant above I am so ashamed of my non-sewing/conventionyness )

don't be ashamed, mine isn't that good either, I got some friends who are helping me, that's really fantastic
I will surely put it in my gallery, just like I did with me previous ones. Just don't think it will be here by july, maybe hopefully august or september...
