The photo is just mesmerising, the contrast in colour between the eyes, the hair/freckles and the cheeks, just lovely. So now I've made a painting of it.
The background is a bit less purple and more black on the original, scanner has gone awol so I took a photo instead.
But I am very pleased with how this one turned out.
Nice with some colour, I'm gonna paint Γin after this and he's just so..... grey.
Well, at least he has an ear trumpet.
Watercolour as usual.

I know, that's what I liked about it too!
The composition is quite plain, but still there is depth in it. That's at least what I aimed to capture.
