Me and Flex had a conversation regarding Snex's voice. I don't remember how it started out but.. Anyways. I remember I used to think of Snex when I listened to a certain artist, which happens to be Mika, and especially in the song Love Today. So I send Flex the video for Love Today, [link]And his response was something like: THAT FUCKIN IS SNEX!
So yea
The personality in that song, the way he sings, now you know Snex's voice haha! I've always seen him as the kind of person that could hit those tones, but still be dead serious if he wants to, like the intro... where is this heading... OH YEAH. In the video, at around 0.27-0.28 there are like 5 frames with a certain pose that Flex really liked, and so did I so I decided to draw Snex in it. And it turned out to be so much fun I drew him in many angles.
So there ya go, angle practice for ya! No idea if I'll ever finish a drawing with one of these poses. Some how I love certain things with each pose so I could probably never decide. Though my favourite pose is 5.. yea.

This is really awesome. My wooden model isn't that great lol..I feel like it's proportions throw me off lol..

I use to have the same problem with my doll, and I realized, the proportions of it is great, but I couldn't draw from it since I tried to get it 100% accurate to the doll.. and it just woudln't work. So nowadays I only use it as a guide-line for foreshortening.

Ah I see, though also: You can get it's legs to go out like that? Mine looks like he just has a stick up his bum.. literally XD and can't really flex well from the springs being so tight.

Not that much no, I exaggerated it a bit while drawing. I also pulled mine of the stick he sits on XD I hate the stick! It doesn't help!
But then again, stock images beats the doll every time, if you can find the pose you're after.

Actually, I wasn't at home so I used a wodden doll like usual. However, I got curious when I got home so I tried positioning him just to see how much faults I had made XD But it didn't work out so well. I learned I like the 3D model more haha, he keeps still.

awesome. wooden doll ftw. but I agree a 3D model works better... I should start using them :/
Anyway, then I'm more impressed by them, since I think that should be more difficult than with a model.

yes of course ^^ if nothing else ya can use Poser. Never liked Poser though. The controlls are horrible.

Love the elbow joints. Awesome looking, just started doing studies like this, usually use a ball for joints though. This might be an idea.

Jäklar, det därvar najs. Det enda jag la märke till som inte riktigt stämmer är de två poserna ("framifrån") till höger, ser ut som att han skall tippa baklänges. Förskjuten tyngpunkt, tror att benen saknar foreshortening.
Dock bland det snyggaste jag sett från dig, riktigt avancerat, kickass! Kul att se sidan uppe förresten.

Ja, dom två som är framifrån är dom som blev sämst. Funderar på att skugga i och se om det skulle hjälpa för att förhöja känslan av att benen är böjda. Då blir foreshortening nästa sak att öva på sen haha
