Homulily was one of the many reasons why I disliked the Third Movie.
She was Supposed to look like this Goddamnit! It was shown in the PSP game how Homulily is SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE! --> img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20…
But her appearance was changed for no reason. The new look sucks too, in comparison how she is SUPPOSED TO LOOK!!!
Also, what's with this finding a dead Homura in the Witch Barrier with no Soul Gem and half of her head missing, when Homura IS the Witch, and was Alive then AS the Witch?!
Dear God, Rebellion Story had to be the worst thing to happen to the series, and not just for that, but for much more too! I think that this whole movie was just a cheaply done and terrible way of making the ending of a Closed-Ended series become Open-Ended, so that they could make sequels in a possible OVA series, or perhaps a Season Two.
SHAFT could've done something similar to this without this crap, like making an OVA or Anime about the Madoka Magica Spinoff Manga series, like Kazumi Magica, or Oriko Magica as an anime or OVA series. Why did they have to do this?!

Both Homulilys can be considered canon, I think it just depends on the circumstances leading up to her witching out.
I mean after all, "old" Homulily was how she would have turned out if she gave up in the old universe pre-Madokami.
Her appearance was changed to better symbolise her new situation. The old witch worked well for her has the girl who would keep looping endlessly, but the new one is for the girl who finally gave up and hates herself.
Your fourth line made no sense at all, try being coherent.
Rebellion was a great story, and certainly had a lot of intrigue to it.

No it was horrible! The worst thing to happen to the series!
Since when can a Witch Form be altered like that?
Another reason why it was a horrible movie! On top of it, during the fight against Homulily, Sayaka then somehow summons her own Witch Form, Oktavia Von Seckendorff, but as a separate being to help her in the battle.
THEY AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT! The Witch Form is supposed to be a permanent and irreversible transformation that happens when they fall into despair, and now Sayaka is somehow sending her Witch Form as a separate being to help her in combat? That Makes No Sense! It also makes the Witches look more like totally separate entities, and not the transformed evil state of the Maho Shoujos.
-Not to mention, how the hell can Homulily and Oktavia even still be there, after the Witches were wiped from Existence by Goddess Madoka? The movie is already messing up its own frikkin continuity so badly!
-Then next, we have this new girl who was added in, Nagisa Momoe, who happens to be the former Maho Shoujo self of the Witch, Charlotte.
First of all, Charlotte's former self was partially shown in these silhouettes in the original series. Nagisa however, looks nothing like what it was shown that she was supposed to look like in that silhouette.
Look at these images and see. The silhouettes in the anime showed that she was SUPPOSED TO look like the one on the far left.
Once again, totally changing the characters's appearance for no reason. --> images.puella-magi.net/f/f4/36…
Second, Nagisa was shown to be able to somehow change into her Witch Form, Charlotte, and change back whenever she feels like it. Once again, just like Sayaka in the fight against Homulily, THEY AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT! For The Witch Form is supposed to be a permanent and irreversible evil transformation that happens when they fall into despair! Now this Nagisa Girl is just changing into her Witch form whenever she feels like it?! What The Hell?!
In fact, following the dumb logic of what Sayaka did, shouldn't Nagisa summon Charlotte as a separate entity to help her, instead of turn into Charlotte?
And not only that, but Charlotte's appearance has also been changed for no reason, and her name as well. Charlotte now has a weirder-looking face, and they now call her "Bebe," when she's supposed to be called "Charlotte!" Now not only changing the appearances for no reason, but also their names too?! What the hell was the point of the name change?
I hated Nagisa Momoe in the movie! She was very annoying, and she was obviously just tacked on for no reason other than because of how famous the Witch, Charlotte is.
-Plus, so much stuff that was obviously done just to get the fans to be happy and shut up.
-Like that part where Hitomi is turned into a Nightmare Monster. That part just Screams "it was done just to make all the fans happy because Hitomi gets what she deserves for stealing Kyousuke from Sayaka and being a jerk!"
-Or the fact that Sayaka is now alive again, she now has Kyousuke as a boyfriend, and his hands are completely healed. Obviously that was done just to make all the fans happy that she gets her boyfriend now, even though it contradicts so many things!
Finally, the thing that really made it absolutely awful.
After Homulily is killed, and Homura departs onto the afterlife, she then meets with Goddess Madoka. Then, out of the blue, Homura turns evil, somehow manages to steal Goddess Madoka's Powers and becomes Evil Goddess Homura (or more like Satan Homura), then she turns Madoka back into a normal girl and sends her home and Mind-Wipes her. After that, the new Evil Goddess Homura restarts the Witch Cycle thing, but now with creatures called "Wraiths" and sends them across the world
Seriously, this was the worst part of the whole movie. First of all, how the hell could an ordinary Maho Shoujo just steal the powers of a Frikkin Goddess like that? Plus, that's totally out of character, Homura is a hero, and she would never want to do that! And Homura certainly didn't have to start this thing with these Wraith Things either!
Dear God, I think that this whole movie was just a cheaply done and terrible way of making the ending of a Closed-Ended series become Open-Ended, so that they could make sequels in a possible OVA series, or perhaps a Season Two.
It also was a huge Deus Ex Machina that made no sense, it render all the past 12 episodes completely pointless, and it was done obviously just to make more sequels, which isn't a good reason!
SHAFT could've done something similar to this without this crap, like making an OVA or Anime about the Madoka Magica Spinoff Manga series, like Kazumi Magica, or Oriko Magica as an anime or OVA series. Why did they have to do this?!

"Since when can a Witch Form be altered like that? "
Witches can be different. Look at Sayaka's witch Oktavia. The changes are slight in her case, but in different circumstances her witch form and lair are different to their regular one.
"On top of it, during the fight against Homulily, Sayaka then somehow summons her own Witch Form, Oktavia Von Seckendorff, but as a separate being to help her in the battle."
This is explained in the movie. Sayaka, having already died, is part of the Law of Cycles. She's with Godoka, with every other Magical Girl who dies. Because of that they can tap into their Witch forms.
Also keep in mind that all of this happened inside of a Soul Gem/barrier.
"The Witch Form is supposed to be a permanent and irreversible transformation that happens when they fall into despair, and now Sayaka is somehow sending her Witch Form as a separate being to help her in combat? That Makes No Sense! It also makes the Witches look more like totally separate entities, and not the transformed evil state of the Maho Shoujos."
They are a transformed state, in the old universe. You're ignoring that A) Godoka effectively rewrote the universe and B) As godlike entities, it makes sense that magical Girls who die can utilise those forms as an extension of themselves.
"Not to mention, how the hell can Homulily and Oktavia even still be there, after the Witches were wiped from Existence by Goddess Madoka?"
Again, Law of Cycles. As for Homulily, were you paying attention to the movie? Kyubey specifically states that they created a space where the Law of Cycles doesn't apply so they could discover what "witches" were.
"Then next, we have this new girl who was added in, Nagisa Momoe, who happens to be the former Maho Shoujo self of the Witch, Charlotte."
And?
"First of all, Charlotte's former self was partially shown in these silhouettes in the original series. Nagisa however, looks nothing like what it was shown that she was supposed to look like in that silhouette. "
No, silhouettes are simply speculation on part of the fans and are not canon. Nagisa was never shown until Rebellion, making her current form canon.
"Look at these images and see....Once again, totally changing the characters's appearance for no reason."
Speculation again. And even then, it doesn't really matter. As it's a character they had not shown before, they can change the design as they please.
"Second, Nagisa was shown to be able to somehow change into her Witch Form, Charlotte, and change back whenever she feels like it. Once again, just like Sayaka in the fight against Homulily, THEY AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT! "
And once again, you didn't pay attention to the movie. Once again; Nagisa, Sayaka and any other dead Magical Girls are 'collected' by Godoka as part of the Law of Cycles. Since they are 'with' Godoka, they can use their Witch forms as extensions of themselves. For lack of a better term, call it "controlling one's grief".
"For The Witch Form is supposed to be a permanent and irreversible evil transformation that happens when they fall into despair! Now this Nagisa Girl is just changing into her Witch form whenever she feels like it?! What The Hell?!"
She's dead already, so of course she can utilise that form.
"In fact, following the dumb logic of what Sayaka did, shouldn't Nagisa summon Charlotte as a separate entity to help her, instead of turn into Charlotte?"
She could, if she wanted to. But she probably likes taking the Charlotte form rather than using her little bubble-blower horn.
"And not only that, but Charlotte's appearance has also been changed for no reason, and her name as well. Charlotte now has a weirder-looking face, and they now call her "Bebe," when she's supposed to be called "Charlotte!" Now not only changing the appearances for no reason, but also their names too?! What the hell was the point of the name change?"
The name 'Bebe' is just a cover while they are inside Homura's lair. She is still Charlotte. As for the design change, I agree it seems pointless at first, but then you realise they changed it so she could be more expressive compared to her old face.
It could also be a consequence of no longer being a 'true' witch.
"I hated Nagisa Momoe in the movie! She was very annoying, and she was obviously just tacked on for no reason other than because of how famous the Witch, Charlotte is. "
That and we needed another character to work with Madoka, since Sayaka alone really wasn't enough.
"Plus, so much stuff that was obviously done just to get the fans to be happy and shut up."
Such as?
"Like that part where Hitomi is turned into a Nightmare Monster."
Not really. It seemed to me more to just be because she was an adequate target. SOMEONE had to be turned into a nightmare monster to help with setting the world up. May as well be that one chick we would recognise and not care about.
"Or the fact that Sayaka is now alive again, she now has Kyousuke as a boyfriend, and his hands are completely healed. Obviously that was done just to make all the fans happy that she gets her boyfriend now, even though it contradicts so many things!"
She wasn't alive 'again', until Homura became a demon. She was part of the Law of Cycles after dying in Godoka's universe, but because Homura ripped out Madoka from the Law of Cycles, it seems that Sayaka was as well.
Don't forget, Homura seems to be stopping the Incubators from ever making magical girls, which would also explain Sayaka's living status.
Nothing is contradicted here. Sayaka died, became part of the Law, and then got stuck in Homura's universe.
"After Homulily is killed, and Homura departs onto the afterlife, she then meets with Goddess Madoka. Then, out of the blue, Homura turns evil, somehow manages to steal Goddess Madoka's Powers and becomes Evil Goddess Homura (or more like Satan Homura), then she turns Madoka back into a normal girl and sends her home and Mind-Wipes her. After that, the new Evil Goddess Homura restarts the Witch Cycle thing, but now with creatures called "Wraiths" and sends them across the world"
Time to break this down:
- Homura didn't turn evil. She just acted as she's always been - selfish. Her selfish love for Madoka made her pull Madoka out of the Law of Cycles, and that in turn caused her to create a new universe. She effectively stole Madoka's power in a sense. Madoka isn't "normal", she's just been forced to forget her power.
- Wraiths already existed as part of the no-witch universe.
"Seriously, this was the worst part of the whole movie. First of all, how the hell could an ordinary Maho Shoujo just steal the powers of a Frikkin Goddess like that?"
If you want to blame anyone blame Madoka for choosing to appear personally to her friend and leaving herself vulnerable.
"Plus, that's totally out of character, Homura is a hero, and she would never want to do that!"
No, it's completely in-character. People like you tend to forget that Homura was never a hero, she was just selfish. Because she was so selfishly in love with Madoka she kept forcing herself and everyone around her to experience the same pain time after time, not only making Madoka's fate worse but possibly making Walpurgisnaught worse as well.
"And Homura certainly didn't have to start this thing with these Wraith Things either! "
She didn't. As I said, the Wraiths were made as a consequence of Witches no longer 'existing' when Madoka became Godoka.
"Dear God, I think that this whole movie was just a cheaply done and terrible way of making the ending of a Closed-Ended series become Open-Ended, so that they could make sequels in a possible OVA series, or perhaps a Season Two."
Say what you will, but this movie was NOT cheaply done. Don't assume that animation on that level is easy or cheap.
"It also was a huge Deus Ex Machina that made no sense, it render all the past 12 episodes completely pointless, and it was done obviously just to make more sequels, which isn't a good reason!"
No, it didn't render the anime episodes worthless. It added an extension to the ending. The 12 episodes still have to happen for Rebellion to happen.
"SHAFT could've done something similar to this without this crap, like making an OVA or Anime about the Madoka Magica Spinoff Manga series, like Kazumi Magica, or Oriko Magica as an anime or OVA series. Why did they have to do this?!"
Probably because they thought it was nice to play around with the main cast a bit more and came up with something both weird and wonderful?

Okay you're beyond reasoning now. Just continue being a sheepish fan.
While me, and my friends like darthplegias and KamiyaBloodVegeance and Cyklopi and REIdepenguin are not.
But first, read this that I found. It has some good food for the thought. --> www.reddit.com/r/TrueAnime/com…

I am neither beyond reasoning nor am I being a "sheepish fan". I simply actually watched the movie and paid attention rather than just getting irate because I didn't understand something.
I also don't care if your friends are equally as ignorant as you are regarding the movie.
Linking to reddit doesn't give your argument any credibility, nor does presenting a couple of demotivational-style images made by fans. You're just propagandising.
I already rebutted each of your complaints with very simple explanations given from the movie itself. You just disregarded every response with 'you're beyond reasoning' and didn't even TRY to counter. That tells me that you're intellectually dishonest and do not actually want to discuss the matter, rather you want to throw one big baby tantrum.

I did pay attention! I watched it twice too and it just made me rage more and vomit in disgust!
Okay then, See a search result of "Rebellion ruins Madoka's name", and see the comments too, and you will see what i'm talking about

"I did pay attention!"
No, you clearly didn't. I only had to watch it once and pay attention to know what was going on.
And once again, you try linking to a biased source. You're really dreadful at arguing, I've handled creationists and conspiritards that are more cohesive than you.
