Solaris Sanctuary is returning as an 18+ Roleplay server (only 18+ really as all my friends who helped are 18+ now too. Solaris will be hosted primarily on discord instead of DA but keeping the DA group open for memories and for new members to post art. You’ll need to apply on discord though when it’s open here soon.

__**Strengths:**__
+ Good swimmer. Even with his injured leg he can swim well as he mostly uses his paddle like tail.

+He can breathe underwater as long as his gills are submerged.

+He is smart. It's to be expected with his career choice though.

__**Weaknesses:**__
-Very sensitive to any pollutants / allergens in the air and water. This can cause him to get sick and his gills and lungs to get inflamed.

-On land he is not fast due to his injury. Running fast is not really a thing for him anymore.

-Loud sounds can cause him to panic. He does have PTSD from his time in the military, but he refuses to admit it.

__**Personality:**__
Button is a very sweet man who also loves sweets. He will do anything he possibly can to make people feel better physically and mentally. Often times he focuses so much on helping others he will often neglect himself. This particular michin suffers from self worth issues and ptsd from his time as a combat medic. He refuses to address these issues as he purposely pushes them down and distracts himself with the issues of others. Button is a morning person and will often be seen roaming the gardens in the morning with a coffee that’s pretty over the top fancy.

__**History: **__
Button was born to Daisy and Layle as their second child. Both of his parents worked in the medical field, Daisy a psychiatrist while Layle was a neurosurgeon. He has an older sister named Mira who also works in the medical field. Button had put pressure on himself to follow his family’s medical field path and started medical school as soon as possible. After around 2 years a civil war broke out in his country and he fled the planet with his family. This left him and his family with nothing. At this point he out even more pressure on himself to go into the medical field so he could help his family. Button joined the military of a multi-species federation to finish medical school for free. After schooling he was a combat medic for a few years before getting badly injured. He struggled with his injury for a while but is now quite happy with his life. During his time in the military he met the love of his life, Pathas. They both joined Solaris and Button is enjoying his new role in the Orion which he earned after a few years of working as a general practitioner.

__**Roleplay Example:**__
` All passengers for the flight to Solaris Sanctuary’s Orion, be warned there has been a delay. The shuttle needs some minor maintenance before take-off.` The voice over the PA was loud but the annoyed groans that emitted from the aliens sitting in the terminal were even louder. One of the aliens in there was sitting in a wheelchair with a packed full, duffel bag on his lap. A worried expression plastered his face while he nervously fidgeted with his hands.
_’It’s not too late to go back. Maybe the delay is a sign that we shouldn’t go.’
‘No no, we are staying. This will be good for you. A safe steady job. You can make a living here and send some money back home. That’s what you want, that’s what I want.’_
His own brain battled with itself, unsure to stay or go. Button was starting all over again and it made him uncomfortable. _deep breaths._ He would clutch the round necklace he was wearing and began to relax. “I’ll be fine.”

-He wears the necklace Torinee Pathas carved for him.
-Button adores animals. He will melt over any animal with love.
