Description

Space is a space monster from my Abime Spire setting! Those of you who've been around since the beginning might recognize him.

A telepathic engineer in Clemcy's employ, Space is, to put it simply, not a cheerful person. He finds Clemcy's lack of activity in the Spire frustrating, the people around him infuriating, and the constant focus on his telepathic rather than technical skills just the icing on top of it all.

He does, however, love his mate Ventro, and is willing to risk quite a lot for Ventro's happiness.

Personal Info

Abilities — Telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, energy beams, and minor healing magic.
Skills — Robotics engineering, combat, first aid, basic metallurgy, wayfinding.
Hobbies — Minimal; usually too busy working or training. Space does listen to music & audiobooks while working, though, and will go on recreational flights when he has the time.
Physiology

Facultative Metabolism — Space does not need to eat or breathe if he has access to enough magic, either ambient or stored.
This said, excluding telepathy he does breathe to talk.
He will also always need to drink at least a bit to replace water lost to evaporation, and he risks becoming malnourished if he doesn't eat to replace lost mass and nutrients when he is injured.
Thermoregulation — Space can withstand rather severe temperature extremes when he has enough magic.
If his thermoregulation is impaired by magic starvation or certain neurological injuries, he will become exothermic and quite vulnerable to temperature shifts.

I commissioned artisticthingem / UndertaleThingems (?) to help me revamp Space's design several years back, and then... didn't get around to using said revamped design until just a few months ago sd;lfkjdlgh. Whoops.

But! I started writing a short story featuring Space and his mate, Ventro, and it turned out that they were cute, and now I want to draw them both much more often. xD
