A variety of concept sketches for Lord Arum (from The Penumbra Podcast), because I have this vague memory of some episode or commentary or something calling him a bug lizard dragon or something along those lines, and my brain went βyes good.β
I tried for some blatant magical, bug, and plant aspects; I didn't want him to just look like a humanoid dragon!
(I blame the experimentation with compound eyes on the first edition cover illustration of Dragonsbane by Barbara Hambly, that was peak dragon inspiration for me as a kid. xD)
