Oooh! First time seeing fanart of Rolling Girls. Loved this show, sad it's over. Nice piece, really love the coloring most of all.

I really like this one, it's fun, the lighting is good, the art is nice and the characters look like they're enjoying themselves. Β The only thing that bugs me is the girl in the background - it's her outfit, it's so bizarre it bugs me, just buzzes in my ear - not your fault (well, technically your fault, but you know what I mean) it's just ... gaaah! Β Now I'm really curious which bike belongs to whom. (My initial guess is the girl in green drives the scooter, the girl with the hat drives the bike with the side car, the girl in blue rides in the side car and the girl in the back rides the bike with the saddle bags.)Β

The girl with the hat drives the blue motorbike to the right with the bags. You're right about the girl in green, the girl with the weird outfit in the back rides in the sidecar, of which the girl all the way at the left rides the motorcycle it's attached to. Well, at least I got one of the girls right; and the girl in the back is cute when you see her from the front, but that outfit is just terrible, I don't know why anyone would wear it. (Just my opinion, I know!) Β Thanks for the answer, though!Β

I assume this is America? Because the sidecar is on the wrong side for Japan I think... Also no crash helmets! As a biker I think that's a little bit crazy - I /like/ my lid (but it has Bluetooth and stereo, a sunshade and it's really quiet and comfy and shiny and black <3 )
That minor carp aside (could be an import or a custom build or anything - or I could just be remembering wrongly) this is a lovely piece of work! Girls and bikes go together like . . uh, girls and bikes?
p.s. Slap me if I'm overthinking this - I don't intend any of the above as a criticism, just as comments: the bikes are all well executed, with good scale and perspective, the wheels line up (so many don't) and the detailing is all good too.

I'm just following what's in the show, but they're in Japan! And yeah, imports happen all the time, they can be legal depending on the state and whatnot as well so.. not like the show cares about being accurate haha
