The breast, the comb, the feather
That scaled brook biting her hips so thick
Her tail so black, her skin so slick
Her teeth sucking like whirlpools
On sailor's soul takes tool
She pulls over the ocean a storm's ire
With her lip, her hair, with her lyre
She's daughter of serpent, child of rivers
Compost fat from the moon's prayers
A flame scalding the deep salt water
Lady of the mirror knows no altar
