Descriptions
- Wyvern Wall:Monster Hunter is one of my top favorite game series. I really love their shield and armor designs, so I got some inspiration from there to do a scale shield for DS2.
Since we're not sure of the time or the areas DS2 covers, I decided against a more specific DS1 name, Seathe's Envy - Divine Intervention:This one is the most lore inspired shield I made, and represents the 4 forces, or Lords, that play a role in the Dark Souls story. (bonfire sword in the middle).
While it's inspiration is specific to DS1, I made it generic enough to hopefully still fit into DS2 - Unwavering Gaze:Inspired mostly from the eye from the red eye orb, and pvp invasions. It's a worn & charred shield with a handprint painted and smeared onto the eye (from the blood of your opponents of course!)

i dont have one of the shields specifically, and I havent invested a lot of time in tutorials but i do stream art live on my twitch account every once in a while. twitch.tv/sohlol
you can watch my process or ask questions in chat, sometimes i do small demos.
i'll try to release some sped up art videos on youtube for anyone that cant sit around for a lot of hours.

Wyvern Wall is just the type of Shield I would love to use. The other two look badass too, I would love to have real versions to put on my house's walls! Hell, I would love to make the freaking front door look like them, side by side! I would need an awesome key too, but hell, it would be worth it!

They all look cool but I always prefer the most realistic and practical and the one with the eye is very stylish and cool.

I tried different approaches with each (only 3 submissions allowed), and since I'm not sure what the judges are looking for I went for a complex shield and 2 simpler ones. Based on last year, they seem to favor the simpler ones, though the Effigy Shield was fairly detailed.
