Well, hopefully I've got Tangled Fanart out of my system for a while now. I'm pretty happy with this. Apparently I can kinda draw cartoons... who knew? I had a blast doing this, but I have to admit, I hate how much I look like a romantic sap in this. Then again, Tangled is like insta-pathetic for me, what with it's awesome characters and plot and writing and songs and... yeah. Just so you DO know though... I'm not usually the sort to cry in movies unless it's like... Gladiator, or Braveheart, or Lord of the Rings, or We Were Soldiers, or something else HARD-CORE like that. You know, epic, horrible death scenes = tears... not fluffy cutesy movies... *shifty eyes*Oh, and yes... LOADS of spoilers in this meme, so beware!

I thought they were going to kill Flynn too, but then I realized that there would tramatized litle kids if they actually killed him off, so he couldn't die.

Yeah, I mean, you can't kill off the Prince Charming in a disney princess movie. Its just wrong. I guess the thing with Flynn was that they took the plot to a point where I couldn't figure out how they were going to manage to bring him back, which caused me a great deal of worry.

Yes, I felt the same way. I knew that he coudln't die but had no clue how they were going to bring him back. That is until the lady behind me said something about her tears. Grrrr, I hate when people spoil movies.

From what I've read on Wikipedia, there were many different variations of the story. So maybe the tears are just one of the variations?

Rofl EXACTLY I was about half trying to remind Disney that killing beloved characters off is not nice, while on the other end, being psyched that they made it dangerous enough for adults to be sitting there whimpering.

Yeah... I guess I can see a bit of that... Flynn's definitely the most rugged Disney prince as yet... and they both have that noble-heart-disguised-as-a-scoundrel thing going on. All I know is that they're my two favorite royal men. <3 Glad you appreciated that bit at any rate

When I read your comment, I honestly couldn't think of which meme you were referring to, so I went to check. Now I realize that I did see yours (and was quite impressed with the art), but I assure you, I had no intention of copying you. All I can really say is this; any resemblance is either purely incidental, or entirely subconscious. I even started to draw him on standing on three legs, but I altered it to resemble the Uncle Sam poster I was referencing and this picture of pascal: [link] .

And I know, I got all emotional in 3 animated films this year (Tangled, Toy Story 3 and How to Train Your Dragon), and usually I don't unless it's a grand epic like LotR, but I'm loving it.
