Yay!I'd found more of my old artwork! *Dances*
AND it just so happened to be the second half of the 'DigiDestined' drawings I'd done back in high school when I was sixteen-years-old (with obvious ref from the official Digimon artwork).
"Digimon Adventure" (season 1), everybody!
God, I miss the good ol' days with GOOD television like from my youth....
Man, do I sound MUCH older than I actually am. o_O'

Well, maybe not ALL of us, a.k.a. the kids nowadays, who, by comparison, only mainly know all the garbage on today (and on the radio ~_~).
So sad. ~_~

I admit, while I was never a fan of Digimon, I did like the art and the creatures from it

lol no worries. i stopped being a fan right after season 3. it all went downhill from there, IMO. but meh. 
let's go watch some old school digimon, even though you couldn't get into it! ^_^

For me... too many characters, too many creatures... it became overwhelming and the plot vanished with all the creatures and characters.

this whole particular group and first season of the overall series is definitely one of my faves ^_^ pretty much seasons 1 to 3. after that...eeyeah...no.
my fave in this group was always sora, since she and i were both tomboy-worthy as kids

TRUE, very true, indeed. SHE definitely became my numbah one once the season rolled along and she became less 2 dimensional, with just her "grr, get away! i'm the best!" routine, and we actually started to figure out why she was like that, blah blah.
aw, man. now you're making me want to go back and watch the whole series, again. well, from 1 to 3, anyway, since 4...yea..by comparison to the previous seasons, it was pretty ridiculous, which was saying something lol but then towards the end of it, at least, it started to sort of find its way and become a bit more focused/'serious' and thus, more interesting (to me, anyway).
but after that, i'd stopped watching anything related to the franchise altogether.

Yeah Rika is the best girl i'm sorry but i'm not a big fan of Zoey. But anyways i like 1-4 myself.
