Soooo....yeah. Unfortunately for me, I was drastically distracted when I'd finished coloring this drawing of Hay Lin at her Senior Prom in my "The Royal Guardian" W.I.T.C.H. story (with pose ref obviously from Winx Club lol, and gown ref from a prom ad, I believe).

due to equally unfortunate drama I'd experienced earlier on....So what I'd envisioned within my head didn't really pan out on the paper (color wise, since I'd finished drawing this last night)....So don't bother coming at me with "It looks weird/sloppy/ugly" please. I already know it is.

Anyway.

I'd gotten the inspiration for Hay Lin's "quirky" messy ponytail hairdo from Ms. Kaley Cuoco and her adorable self And then the prom dress, story wise, Hay Lin had designed and made herself (and obviously her hair she'd dyed to purposefully match the color scheme), but reality wise it was also inspiration from an actual prom dress I'd seen in passing, before I'd get sued or w/e. Just changed a few things. *Shrugs*

Oh. And yeah, Winx Club-Aware-People, that is Musa's pose for one of the billions of pics of her. With "cartoonie" drawings like these that I draw, I'm usually never bothered with creating poses cuz it slows me down (BUT, that DOESN'T mean that oh, I'd traced it or some other BS. No. Just saw it and then drew it exact. I told ya before that's how it goes with me and most of my work. I see it, I draw it exact most of the time). The more realistic/anime ones I do, though, I bother. Go figure. *Shrugs* But sorry if that happens to turn ya off, though. Just found this one cute for Hay Lin, cuz now she's pointing at her funky hairdo as if to say, "See how neat it is??" ^_^

And yes, she's not wearing shoes on purpose (although she "said" she'd come with sneakers to wear later when leaving with her boyfriend, Eric, etc ^_^), but just her barefoot sandals.

It's all supposed to be a part of her extremely "quirky, but unique/artistic" look, to go out with a "bang," so to speak, before high school graduation (since, as it stands in my mind here for the story, she'd gone to her Junior Prom with a more "traditional" look as compromise to her parents who would've wanted a "calm" photo from their daughter LoL). ^_^

I think you did your job, Hay Lin.
