Numbah two within my 'Project Piece'...well, project.

And yay, finally getting better at doing Taranee art. Weeeeee...cough.

And YES, duh UH, it doesn't look IDENTICAL to the canon official art of 'Ranee, due to her new (French braid) hairstyle. Nooo...REALLY?? Having comments of "It doesn't look like Taranee" (which thankfully doesn't occur often) is rather tiring now.

Whenever I draw 'Ranee, I like to draw her with new hairdos and give her more flare and attention since, to me (and others, as well), she's SO beautiful, one of the top 3 of the W.I.T.C.H. gals, in my opinion, as well as one of, if not the most neglected/underrated within said group. =/

And besides all that, though, most, if not all of my W.I.T.C.H. related art is based upon mine or others' fanfiction stories more often than not, so however I draw her hair/appearance change is how it's featured within whatever story, is all.

I'm rather proud of this specific Taranee art of all the ones I'd done (well, besides the 'Quintessential Power' drawing I'd done), and find her beauty to be captured/displayed rather well here, as well.

And I'd also found the Mizuno Ami pose I'd used for her to suit her rather well, also, so that's also a plus.

The book she's holding says 'Advanced Organic Chemistry,' in case it cannot be read. I never took advanced OChem, but the class I had I'd found rather intricate, however completely fascinating, myself. But then, I'd always enjoyed Chemistry much more than Biology and seemed to be more of a natural in it than the latter. ^_^'

As for her attire, I couldn't really think of anything super specific, as I hadn't wanted to draw her within her school uniform again (since each of these project pieces are meant to sort of be like a character profile/capture), so I just did sort of like a present day, '70s fusion. That is, the top she's wearing (which is also meant to showcase her slowly budding from shy to more bold/attention grabbing self this story's version of her will have her do, since it's off the shoulder like that, yet still relatively subtle) is a random 'stylish' sweatshirt I'd seen, while the long skirt and its design hails from the 1970s that I'd found adorable.

And yeah, I guess it isn't as flashy and oooh, la la! as Corny's outfit, or perhaps whatever I'll eventually do for the rest of the girls later on (don't quote me ), but I personally like it. Gooooo, 'Ranee!

Rock your budding sexy thang-thang! LoL
