Invader ZIM The Movie: Invader DibFrom what I hear, this was a TV movie idea tossed around by the ZIM crew that would have been made as a closer to the series. Since the end came prematurely however, it was never made. Jhonen wanted to focus the series later on as an intergalactic chase between Dib and ZIM that would have come to a head in this movie. I made this DVD case as a sort of sequel to the Invader ZIM: The Game [link] and to see if I could improve upon the design; i.e. greater complexity and more depth. I think it came out just spendid! Now, if someone would just make the movie...

There's this big IZ project I know of. They're actually making an IZ movie. They're hoping they won't get any legal bashes, as they're not official, and are just doing it out of love for the show.

I'm in an animation class at school. How about I pull together a team of the best people in my class to actually make the movie, and then i'll buy a bunch of blank CDs and download the movie onto all of them them and print this for all of the boxes and give 'em all away to everyone. XD

I think since Nickelodeon Movies are distributed by Paramount, you should had used a Paramount DVD template as I'm not sure if other companies (Other then maybe The Criterion Collection) are allowed to distribute films distributed by Paramount.
I know Anime Works distributed the whole series (I bought the whole series at Hot Topic for $30 bucks when I was 12 or 11 while the company was still selling the show on DVD) but of course it was a show. Movies are usually distributed by whoever distributed the film in the 1st place. (Unless the rights where sold to someone else like years ago [Paramount selling most of their 1929-1948 films to Universal so that they can be shown on TV in like 1956 or whatever] or due to some licensing issues or if its made by another studio, they change the distributor [Apocalypse Now was originally distributed by United Artists but soon the rights went to Paramount] )
Whatever the case, I love the artwork you did. (Though I doubt they would film the movie in 2.35:1 considering how most Animated Films are done in 1.85:1)

No one understands how bad I want this movie to be made real! I mean, I would buy the DVDs if they came out in the UK, but they never did so I never could see the episodes again. It is honestly so horrible they took it off of TV. And now it won't even come back despite it being on in US!

Yes, right before they cancelled IZ, they were about to make the unfinished episodes, then the movie, Invader Dib. But NOOOOO. Nickelodeon had to CANCEL the show. XP
