[Edit] Been messing around with the color since it appears lighter on some programs and online than it does where I actually made it; not sure what the final item is looking likeAn old (oooold) request from a friend to draw a dagger. Her specifications were, and I quote: "a dagger. with a solid black hilt (can add designs on it if u want) and a black (but if u turn it in light you can see some purple shimmering in it) squiggly ~ blade."
Hopefully I fulfilled those parameters, and hopefully she'll remember this request so that I don't have to tell her she's the one who requested it.

Well, I mean absolutely no disrespect, but when you originally made the request, in the back of my mind I was pretty much always thinking "Yeah, never gonna get that done"; it didn't seem like something quite within my potential -- and to be fair, at the time I think it wasn't XP But now that I've got photo editing software (well, y'know, GOOD photo editing software), I figured it was about time I took a stab at it. Overall, I'm quite pleased, since I got a gift done for you (at like, long last XP) AND I discovered a bit of where I want to take my art style.
